Sleeping Giant Studios is currently expanding our creative service capabilities and have a need to fill for the following positions.

Web UI/UX Designer

Experience with web and interface design.
Knowledge of basic design principles.
Be able to conceptualize, present and execute ideas within a tight schedule.
A passion for great design.
The drive to deliver great design for great clients.
The ability to have fun and maintain a positive attitude.
The ability to collaborate with a great group of dedicated, fun-loving people with a passion to work as hard as they play.

Serve as design lead on assigned projects and/or Clients.
Work with a team to identify strategic intent of specific projects
Conceptualize and develop innovative and strategically sound visual concepts and architecture
Design user interfaces for our client’s websites and web-based applications including; visual look & feel, graphics, styles, navigation and layout.
Communicate and oversee the consistency of web design parameters, style guides and visual standards
Work with a team to facilitate and implement creative designs
Stay up to date on industry evolution

Solid knowledge of interactive design
Thorough knowledge of HTML and CSS
Knowledge of PHP is a plus
Knowledge of WordPress is a plus
Knowledge of mobile design is a plus
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks a plus
Excellent communication skills needed for interacting with team and clients.
Be able to conceptualize, present and execute ideas within a tight schedule
Proven history of creating original, innovative and strategically sound web based solutions for clients
Expert knowledge of PhotoShop, Illustrator
Knowledge of Flash
Ability to design for database driven websites, Flash and video
Create and maintain the look and feel of various websites pushing to achieve the highest quality possible within the technical limitations
Able to follow direction, and process artistic and technical feedback in order to create unique design solutions
Excellent animation, motion graphics, sound and video capabilities a plus
